Title: warm embrace
Sirius looked happily as lily and james potter stood over harry's crib.They looked so happy as they looked down on him. Harry looked just like James, but he had his mothers soft caring eyes.
'Now that the dark lord is gone Lily, we can now raise are beautiful baby, No one will ever find us here' said james as he kissed lily ever so softly. She hugged him back.
'someday, this child will do great things, i know it james.' said lily happily.
Sirius was glad to be this wonderful childs godfather. He smiled, leaving them in thier loving embrace. If thier was one thing lily loved about James, it was the way he held her, ever so loving like he would always be there to protect her. Just then, the door busted open.
'RUN UPSTAIRS LILY!!' yelled james. She heard a loud cry of death.
'JAMES!!' she cried, At that moment her only thought was to keep Harry safe. Holding him in the warm embrace james had held her in, she waited for the worst. She was dettermind to not ruin harrys future, and that he would survive, even if it meant sacrificing herself. Suddenly a man in black coat came in.
'move over you blasphemous woman!' he ordered, in a voice of a demon.
'NO!!NOT HARRY, TAKE ME INSTEAD!!!' not believing what she was saying, barely aware of anything at all, except for her love for her beloved son. With that Lily evans potter, was no more. The treachorous man pointed his wand at harry, the little child gurgled with joy, barely noticing someone was trying to kill him.
'Avada Kedevra!' but nothing happened. Voldemort burned with pain, and all that became of him was a puff of green smoke. Just then, Dumbledore rushed in and grabbed the child carefully. Lily had given her life to save Harry. Her warm embrace she once knew had let her son live. The baby was asleep, and all that had touched him was a lightning bolt scar on Harry's forhead.
'Harry,' Dumbledore said, 'You are the boy that lived.'
