Title: My Favorite Day With a Special Friend
I was so nervous that day after school. I sat on the bench waiting for the city bus with him just two feet away. We had been going out about two months, but he was special and I wanted to do the right thing. We waited for the bus for about 25-30 minutes and almost gave up when they bus came. I was ready to pay for him when the bus came, but he had come prepared. So I just saved the money in case. We arrived at the mall and it was chilly when we arrived and as we walked in there was a little line at the movie office so we waited. While we were in the line I asked him what he wanted to see and he really didn't care and actually wouldn't choose. So I ended up choosing a James Bond movie. Well in they movie theater I was trying to make every attemp of holding his hand, but inside of me my bone froze over like an iced lake. The movie ended and it was dark when we were leaving. The bus hadn't come so we decided to walk a little bit farther to the next bus stop. I was so cold I started to shiver and he looked at me out of the corner of his eye. After about thirty seconds of silence he looked over and asked me if I was cold. I said, 'kinda.' He reached down and pulled his sweater over his head for me and simply held out his hand. We got on the bus and I said, 'You can scoot a little closer ya know, I won't bite, maybe,' as a little smile came over my face. He scooted closer. So we got dropped off and he walked me home and i decided then to walk him half way to his house. We got to the busy street and said our goodbyes. I had never kissed him, but he had always kissed me on the cheek. When he went to kiss my I turned my lips and gave him a kiss. He smiled gave me a hug and we both left. Once he was out of sight I ran as fast as I could back home, jumped up to the telephone and dialed my best friends number and said, 'I've finally kissed him.' I was all happy and could barely sleep that night, what I had wanted since the first day of school had happened. My moral is when you want something go after it because you'll be kicking yourself if you don't. Also to now say that it is June 29 and we've been dating 9 months, two weeks, and 1 day.
