Title: Asmir in vienna

“Asmir in Vienna” by Christobel Mattingley wasn’t anywhere near as good as the first book named, “No gun for Asmir” the plot didn’t get me hooked at all it was pretty boring. I couldn’t really see smell or hear it at all because I didn’t get hooked but I could tell Asmir was feeling quite happy at the end. The author got to a climax at the middle of the book where they thought their dad was shot in the war. It wouldn’t be worth getting into trouble under the covers with a torch.
The characters are certainly credible. They were all described well I couldn’t really form a bond with any of the characters. Though I did care about what happens to them in the end because I felt so for Asmir in the story. In the story they kept their personalities. I felt like was eavesdropping but it didn’t bother them.
There wasn’t any thing wrong with the language. The words were great for building pictures in your mind. The sentence structure contributed to the atmosphere of the story. The size of the font of the writing is very easy to read. I think it’s more of a read alone type of book.
I would never like to receive this book as a gift and I wouldn’t spend my pocket money on it either I probably wouldn’t keep it for my children to read I would recommend it to any one who likes sad type of books. I haven’t really been changed by reading this book though I’m glad I did.
