Title: The boy who lived
It was a warm autum day in Gryffindor's Hollow.
The Potters had been enjoying a day with their one and only son,Harry.Little Harry knew nothing of his future,as the same gos for all of us.
He knew nothing of the Dursleys,Voledemort,or
Hogwarts.But ask him today,and these are the things that are always on his mind.Lily and James Potter were so happy to be with Harry,but
in the back of their minds,a cold though swept through their heads.Of Voldemort.They,under no
circumstances were taking any risks,especaily those that could harm their precious child.
Lily looked outside at the sunset.'Just as beautiful as you two.'James said softly.
The sky was like a painting.The livid pink,soft lavender,and vibrant orange were now fading as the sun went down.The night approached,and Lily was about to put Harry to bed.She smiled,but inside she felt a mixture of worry,and concern,thinking about her 1 year old's safety with Voldemort around.She lay Harry down in his crib,and walked back into the living room,back to James.There was a loud dull rap on the door.It can't be..thought James.'Lily!It's him!Go to Harry!'James said in a hushed tone to his wife.The door was blasted open,and Lily,who was with Harry,was horrified at what her husband would come up against.'Imperious!'yelled Voldemort.
'Expelliarmus!'yelled James.
James was still not goinng to give up.He was fighting the Imperious Curse.'You have choosen
the path of death!AVADA KEDAVRA!'Voldemort yelled.James lay sprawled on the ground.He was
Dead.Lily knew her husband was dead.She tried
to fight back tears.Voldemort swept in the room.'Don't kill Harry!Don't kill Harry!'She yelled.'Stupid woman!Move over!''No!Don't kil Harry!''AVADA KEDAVRA!'Lily lay on th floor dead.'Avada Kedavra!'he yelled.But,Instead of killing Harry,the spell left Voldemort weak.
11 years later,Harry would learn the truth.
