Title: My first day at Hogwarts (part three)
'I think we should start out with charms, for that'll take longest.' We went to our bags and got our wands, our quills, our parchment, and our Charms book.
'Ok, according to flitwick the wand movments are something like this-' Mike gave a small flick of his wand. 'And we say Locomortor and whatever we want to move! Locomortor Quill!' while he said it, he gave a short flick of his wand. nothing happened. 'This may take a while. I nodded.
An hour later we got our transfiguration out, and put our charms away. We got the locomotion charms down pretty well. Now we had to practice and write about the Avifors spell.
I pointed my wand at the rock i had and muttered 'Avifors' a jet of blue flew and his the rock. That ugly bird erupted out of the rock and flew across the room and turned back into a rock. ' I think i'm getting the hang of this. When i got my wand (13 inches, Mahogany and Phoenix Feather,) Ollivander said it was good for all spoken charms and spells, particularly transfiguration..' I explained to Mike who just wasn't getting it. 'Let's Start our writing on the avifors'
'OK'
When casting avifors you definatley need to concenttrate. I smiled and kept writing.
When i went to bed that night, I thgouhgt about all the different things i did. 'Hogwarts is going to be difficult' i said to myself, and fell asleep.
