I decided to take a chance. I walked over to where Harry and Hermione were sitting. 'Uh... ummmmm.....hi Harry! How's the weather?' 'What is with this girl?' I heard Ron whisper to Harry. I couldn't believe it. I was just about to take a chance that could of made me and Harry Potter friends. I blew it. 'Hello little 1st year!' said Ron laughing. 'How are you doing in potions class?' 'Would you like me to help you?' said Hermione. Harry looked at ron and Hermione as if they were dumb. 'Don't mind them.' He said. 'They don't remember when THEY were first years!' said Harry laughing. I laughed a little too. 'What's your name?' he said. 'I'm sure you know mine!' 'My name is Danielle Gagnier.' I said. 'Harry....I was wondering..well...you know how you and Ron and Hermione are like.....friends...and part of a group?' 'Yeah.' he said. he looked confused. 'well.....could I be part of that group?' Harry smiled. Hermione did too. Ron had one of those, 'Harry-don't-say-yes, looks on his face. I waited and waited for the chance of a life time.
