Title: Making Mistakes
Since I was born I have been making mistakes; like bumping into a pole, or getting my shoes dirty. I even almost bounced my sister off the trampoline. I've done all of that stuff and they are all mistakes. But making mistakes is okay, because you learn from them.
Take bumping into a pole, for instance. My family and I were going to a party at school, and I ran so fast that I didn't notice a pole in front of me. I bumped right into the pole and fell. I scraped my elbow and hurt my loose tooth. I felt pretty foolish, and my body ached. It hurt to move my arm.
I've gotten my shoes dirty before. One time it rained and I wanted to play in the puddles so bad. I decided to play in them anyway, even though I knew that mom would be mad. My shoes were new, and mom told me that morning not to play in the puddles. Not only did I get my shoes dirty, but I got my socks all wet, and my pants all dirty.
One time me and my sister were bouncing on the trampoline. We were having fun until I accidentally bounced my sister up too high. She almost fell off the trampoline, but luckily she didn't. She did get kind of hurt. She was scared and she started to cry. I said that I was sorry, and that I didn't mean to do that. I was careful not to bounce her too high, after that.
I've made a lot of mistakes in the past and I've learned from them all. I learned that I need to watch where I am going, so I won't bump into anything and get hurt. I also learned that I shouldn't play in puddles in my new shoes or school clothes. If I want to play in puddles I should wear my old clothes and an old pair of shoes and socks. I know now that I need to be careful when more than one person is on the trampoline. It's all right when I make mistakes, because then I know what to do the next time.
