Title: The Day Voldemort Killed The Potters
It was a warm, sunny, day at Godric's Hollow. Lily and James Potter were busy playing with their one and only son Harry James Potter.
Then there was a knock on the door.
'I'll go get it',said Lily cheerfully as she went to open the door. 'Hello Lily dear',said
the familiar voice of Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft
and Wizardry. He was wearing a sad and
worried look on his face. 'Hi! Can I help
you, sir? Won't you stay for tea.'said Lily.
'No, no thanks. I'm afraid I have some very
bad news, very bad indeed.'said Dumbledore.
'As you all know, Voldemort is getting
stronger, and I'm afraid he's after you and James.' What can we do?'said James as he
came up to them. ' You must perform the
Fidelius Charm,' replied Dumbledore. 'You
must choose for someone whom you can trust with your life to be your secret keeper, I
will be happy to do that-' 'No. Sirius will be the secret keeper. Thank you sir, but I
must give that job to Sirius,' said James.
'Alright but if the secret keeper tells a soul where you live, then the charm shall be
broken and you will no longer be safe. I
trust you know how to perform it,'said Dumbledore looking at Lily who was good at
charms nodded. 'Then it must be performed straight away. I'll leave you to it,' he said
with a pop and Disapparated. 'Okay, Lily I'll
get Sirius and you get ready to perform the
charm,' said James and he was gone in a pop.
Lily pulled her wand out and then James came with Sirius. 'Okay, on the count of three.
One,two,thr-' 'Wait!!' cried Sirius. ' It'll
be too obvious that the secret keeper is me
so I think that the secret keeper should be Peter. Hardly anybody will know it's him,'
he suggested. So they went to get Peter and performed the charm. Little did they know that Peter is a secret servant of Voldemorts.
Right after the charm was performed,Peter
went to tell Voldemort where the Potters were
so the charm was broken straight away. That
night,Voldemort set out to kill the Potters.
