Title: It's a Pokémon World! Hoenn Series: Part 56
'Go, Slugma!' Flannery shouted. She threw out a PokéBall and a Pokémon that looked like a slug made out of magma came out.
'Sluuuuugma,' it bellowed.
'Go, Fang!' I shouted.
I threw the PokéBall that contained my newly caught Seviper. Fang hissed at Slugma and glared at it.
'Slugma, Rock Throw!' Flannery yelled.
Slugma bellowed and rocks fell out of the sky, trying to fall on Fang.
'Fang, Poison Tail!' I shouted.
Fang slithered over to Slugma and poisoned it with the sharp spike on its tail.
'Slugma, Fire Spin!' Flannery shouted.
Slugma spit fire at Fang. Fang looked like he was in pain, but he kept going.
'Almost done, Fang!' I said to the Seviper. 'A Bite should do it!'
Fang slithered over to Slugma and bit it. The fire Pokémon fainted, and Slannery returned it.
'Go, Torkoal!' she shouted, throwing out another PokéBall.
A Torkoal came out of the PokéBall. Like the one we had seen in the Fiery path, this Torkoal was small and had a large black shell.
'Torkoal, Overheat!' Flannery said.
Torkoal heated up, then a lot of fire burst out from the opening in its shell and hit Fang. The Seviper fell to the ground.
'Fang, return,' I said. 'Go, Spike!'
The Absol stepped out onto the field and growled at Torkoal.
'Use a Faint Attack!' I shouted.
Spike disappeared, then reappeared behind Torkoal. The Absol attacked it from behind.
'Torkoal, Overheat!' Flannery shouted.
Once again, fire spewed out from Torkoal's shell and tried to hit Spike. The Absol was too fast.
'Spike, use a Bite!' I shouted.
Spike bit Torkoal and the large turtle Pokémon cried out.
'Torkoal, use another Overheat!' Flannery yelled.
Spike got hit by Overheat this time, but he was still in.
'Finish it with an Aerial Ace!' I shouted.
Spike ran circles around Torkoal, then attacked from behind. Torkoal fell to the ground and Flannery recalled it.
'Uhhh...here, you have...uhh...won the umm...Heat Badge,' Flannery said.
She gave me a small badge. I waited in the Pokémon Center while the others won their badges and my Pokémon healed. When we got outside, guess who I ran into!
