Title: The Secret Passage Chptr 25 (Con't 2)
'No fair!' Amy shouted angrily.
Pidgeot attacked with Whirlwind. It flapped it's wings furiously and sent Meowth slamming into a wall.
'Meowth, return!' Amy cried. 'I choose you, Kadabra!'
'Return, Pidgeot!' I cried. 'I choose you, Raichu!'
Raichu leapt onto the battlefield.
'You know what to do Raichu!' I shouted.
It sure did. Raichu used the Thunder Jolt attack, and everyone was amazed, I think.
Kadabra fainted right like that. Amy's next choice was Tentacruel.
'Raichu, Thunder!' I ordered.
Raichu shot dozens of lightning bolts out at Tentacruel, who fainted quickly, half of it from fear.
The judge stepped into the arena. 'Tentacruel is unable to battle! Round one goes to Crystal!'
The crowd cheered, and Silver ran out to the battlefield to congratulate us.
'Great job, you guys!' Silver cried. 'You did great! Three one hit knock-outs!'
I laughed. 'Not to mention a back pack full of shiny golden coins!'
My next battle was a little later on, against a boy named Spike. His name suited him – he had spiky hair.
'I choose Doduo!' he cried.
'I call Raichu!' I shouted.
Doduo appeared in a flash and Raichu landed on the battlefield.
'Raichu, Thunder Punch!' I cried.
Raichu ran towards Doduo at an amazing speed and aimed a punch at it's face. It's fist crackled with electricity.
Doduo fell with a thud.
'I choose Sandshrew!' Spike cried.
'Return, Raichu!' I shouted. 'I choose Lapras!'
'Sandshrew, use...' Spike shouted.
'Surf!' I cried, imitating Spike's strong accent.
Sandshrew looked confused. 'Shrew?'
Lapras blasted Sandshrew with a jet of water. Sandshrew instantly fainted.
Spike was pretty upset. 'Return, Sandshrew! Go, Bellsprout!'
Bellsprout appeared in a flash.
'Return, Lapras!' I cried. 'Go, Rapidash!'
'Bellsprout, use...' Spike began.
The imitating trick had worked well before, so I did it again. 'Flame Thrower!'
Again, Spike's Pokémon was genuinely confused, though Rapidash knew what to do. It scorched Bellsprout.
The judge stepped onto the field. 'Crystal goes on to the final round!'
I found Silver and told him what happened. 'And now I'm going to the final round!' I finished excitedly.
Silver had a strange look on his face. 'I'm going to the final round too.'
'Eh-oh,' I said. 'Looks like we'll fight for the first time now.'
