Title: Hungry Hobbits
'I'm hungry!' Pippin complained loudly, despite the fact he had just eaten thirty minutes ago. 'You're always hungry. You hobbits must have bottomless stomachs.' Gimli said. Legolas shook his head and reached into his pocket. He always had food in there for Pippin. This time it was an apple. The elf handed it to Pippin, who had eaten it down to the core in less then thirty seconds. The speed Pippin ate with gave Legolas the idea he was trying to set a record. Legolas hoped the hobbit wouldn't accidently choke on something one of these days. After Pippin had nibbled all the last edible peices of apple of the core he used it as he did rocks. He threw it into a bush, full speed. They were all quite surprised when the apple thumped something in the bush. There was a very angry growl and then the apple came flying back out toward Pippin. He ducked but Gimli didn't. It hit him square in the head. The dwarf fell over and looked a bit like a turtle on its back. Legolas pulled him up before he got angry. 'I think we need to see what's in that bush.' Legolas said. 'You go see!' Gimli and Pippin said at the same time. Legolas sighed and moved toward the bush. It suddenly started shaking.' What the?' Legolas asked himself. As if to answer his question two orcs that were in need of a bath emerged from the bush. One had a lump on its head. 'Uh Oh!' Pippin shouted. They took one look at the elf and then looked at Pippin and Gimli. Legolas had forgotten his bow back by Pippin and Gimli. If he had remembered it he could have saved them all quite a bit of trouble.
