Title: momotaro (peach tarou) (Old Japanese Folktale)

Long long ago, in a land far far away, there was an old couple who lived alone in the country side. They did not have any children since they were already too old. One day, when the grandmother went to the river to wash clothes, she found a big peach bobbing up and down upstream. She then decided to take the peach and eat it when she gets home. When she got home, the grandmother asked the grandfather to cut the peach open to eat. When he got his knife and split open the first half of the peach, he was surprised when he heard a sound of a baby crying. He looked around but there was no one there. But then the grandmother realised that the sound was coming from the peach. When they opened the peach fully, they found a baby crying! The old couple named him Momotarou. (In japan, momo means peach so the meaning of momotarou is 'peach tarou') For the old couple, this seemed like a miracle from god. But this would not only be a blessing from god to the old couple but to every single person in the world.
