Title: Believe

When I think about it, I instantly grow scared and tense.

I can see everything very clearly around me--
It feels so real,
like it's really happening even when I know it's not.

I see every detail,
every face in the crowd
I know every step
feel every step.

I know I've got to do my best
I can think positive.
I will make it if I believe.
I know if I want it bad enough
I will get it.

It feels so good;
If only it felt like this when it was time.

I know I will be very nervous when I step up to the line
I know if I've lost before I've even began;
have negitive thoughts
not being serious about what I am trying to accompish.
I know how to start off right--
believe in myself,
know I will win.

I've worked hard to get this far,
how can I let it all end here?

I owe it to myself--
I've come where I am
only because of myself.
I can only get where I want to be
by believeing in myself.

(It all comes down to how hard I train both mentally and physically)
