Title: Finding Out Who

Chapter 9

Perry finally reached a little white house and pulled into it’s mile long driveway(or
at least it seemed like it). I assumed that it was his hideout or something.
Perry went to open my door, and he picked me up, just in case I tried to run,
although there was nowhere to run to! But I wasn’t planing on that, I was starting to fall
for Perry’s story. Even though his reasoning for kidnapping me were pretty lame, I felt the
pain that Perry was feeling for my dad, if it wasn’t an act.
The days whizzed by, and I got to have at least a little bit of fun, because Perry
kept on insisting that I read any of his books if I wanted to, and to play any card game
with his cards. But Perry was always gone, which I don’t know where he could be without
someone noticing his face from a "wanted" sign or something.
After almost my first week of being a kidnapped little girl, Perry let me send a
letter to my mother. But Perry sent it off from a place far away from where we were, in
case the police could track down where it came from. And I couldn’t put in to much detail
into my letter, because that could cause trouble too. So, I simply wrote,

Dear Mommy,
Please do not worry about me. I am safe from all harm, especially while with Perry. Perry did this
to keep me away from the person who really did hurt dad. And it wasn’t Perry. I love you ever so
much, and I ask you to take good care of the house(even though I never do any work anyway).

With hugs and kisses,
Christine M . Ozrob
