Title: A visit to fairyland
Lauren said there were fairies at the bottom
of the garden. She said that in the old willow tree
there was a green door and when the fairies open it,
you could see right into fairyland. "yes, dear," said
her Daddy who was busy reading. "Now, why don't
you take your sister Stephanie into the garden? You can
show her the fairies and the door to fairyland.''
Lauren could tell her Daddy thought she was
pretending and she felt rather hurt.
After a short while, the green door opened and
out came some fairies. Lauren was so surprised
she grabbed her big sister Stephanie by the arm.
"Shhhh"said Stephanie, we don't want to scare them.
Lauren asked "how can we make friends with them?"
Stephanie had a great idea. "Why don't we stay very quiet
and maybe the fairies will invite us in".
This is exactly what happened. They went into fairyland.
It was so colourful to Lauren. Stephanie said that it
was like there was magic in the air everywhere.
They rode on butterflies and their houses were made of flowers.
It was such an adventure. Lots of little
babies were fast asleep in petals of roses with
grown up fairies looking after them.
They had never seen anything like that.
They found a pond and had a drink,
the water was beautiful. Just then they
heard their mummy calling them for dinner.
Quick said Stephanie we have to go.
Out they went closing the door behind them and
couldn't wait to meet them again.
Both of them could not believe their eyes.
