Title: The sons of the Sun.
The sun was beating on my back as I sat in the fourth period class, that I have come to know as Geomotry.Sweat was pouring down my back, and I could hardly breathe, I wasn't sure what was going on, but I knew for a fact that it wasnt a good thing. After a few wheezes, and a couple of coughs, I was knocked out and in the world deep inside my head.
My name was Jeremia Crane, and I was your regular fourteen-year old teen, at Palms high. Not many people knew me by name, but I was sure they all had heard my stand up and shout at a teacher, once or twice. I never seemed to be able to agree with others when it came to anything, I had my own way of doing things, and I didn't want to listen to anyone other than me.
I was standing in an open field, completely lost, and utterly confused about what had happened. I had heard about many people being in a type of limbo when they came close to death, and maybe that is what was happening to me. I didnt know if I had died, or if I was just dreaming, but I was afraid.
Terror seemed to fill every inch of my bones, and my limbs could not even sense that I was standing. It felt like I was numb, and I had a feeling of eternal grief. My heart sank more and more, leaving me bare, exposed to the cold. Hope seemed to be sucked out of me, and thats when I saw it.
A hooded man, with an atheme in his right hand. He crept towards me, and with every step the cold worsened in me. The way his body moved was like a bolt of lightning into the ground...
