Title: The night people never forgot.
It was a very guiet house that Lilly & James Potter lived. The wind was blowing so cold and hard on the Potter's house. It was 7:00 in the evening, Lilly & James had just had a visit wiht one of James' friends from Hogwarts school of witch craft & wizardry, Sirius Black. After arriving home the Potters decided to go and check on their 1 year old son Harry Potter. when they had found he was alright they heard footsteps coming up the pathway. Thinking this could have been Sirius Black , Remus Lupin or any of his old school friends. The door opened, and there stood oned of the most powerful sorcerers in the wizarding world, Lord Voldemort. Lilly & James went running to young Harry's room . Lilly sucsessfully made it to Harry's room, James did not. As soon as James started to run away Lord Voldemort he had sent the Crutatious Curse and Avada Kedavra flying toward James.The next sounds you heard were the winces of James and the cries of Crucio and Avada Kedavra. Then the sounds of footsteps echoing in the hallway drew nearer and nearer to Harry's room. The door swung open and Lord voldemort steped inthe room. Lilly fought her heart out for Harry, but unluckily , Voldemort yelled Avada Kedavra and killed Lilly at an instant.Voldemort stared at Harry squarly for a moment or two and then Voldemort yelled Avada Kedavra. The spell backfired on Voldemort and left Harry with nothing but a scar on his forehead. Later in his life this scar might be a greatful thing.
