Title: Susannah and the Purple Mongoose Mystery


Have you ever read Susannah and the Purple Mongoose by Patricia Elmore? Well, you should. This book is about Susannah who is trying to solve a mystery. She’s using clues to find out who is setting fire’s to Quiggy’s house. You will never guess who did it!

In fact, you might enjoy this book as much as I did because the book has great characters. Like who? Susannah because she is clever and intelligent and she knows how to solve problems. The story also makes me think of when one of my friend’s old house caught on fire because it took forever to put it out.

It seems that the author’s message is don’t hurt the people you love. For example, in the book Quiggy trusted someone who she loved. Clearly, they just tried to hurt her. They tried to burn down her house. For that reason, a word of advice—do not try to hurt the people you love even if they did something to you. Another word of advice is to read Susannah and the Purple Mongoose Mystery!
