Title: It's a Pokémon World! Hoenn Series: Part 86
After a hearty breakfast at my house, we all headed back to Fortree City on our flying type Pokémon. When we got to the Pokémon Center, we had a quick lunch, then were back on the road.
'Where to next, Sheryl?' I asked.
Sheryl pulled out her map. 'According to the map, the nearest town is Lilycove City. But it's pretty far away.'
'Exactly how far?' Tess asked.
'Let's just say that we'll be there by tomorrow morning,' Sheryl said with a sigh.
I sat down on a small rock overlooking a pond and threw a rock in. 'There's got to be a faster way to get there.'
'Hey, I've got it!' Sasha said. 'Maybe we can use out bikes!'
We all pulled out our bikes and started to ride. It was easy-going for a while, until we came to some tall grass.
'The grass gets all tangled in your wheels!' a fellow trainer warned. 'Don't try it!'
'Maybe we can fly,' I said hopefully.
'No, I don't think so,' Chris said. 'They're probably tired from the long flight there.'
A young boy walked up to us. 'Excuse me, but I can't help overhearing you,' he said. 'I might have a way you can get to Lilycove City faster.'
'How?' we all said at the same time.
The boy smiled. 'I know a shortcut. If you take the right passage, it will lead you to the outskirts of Lilycove City. But if you take the wrong passage, you will end up at the creepy Mt. Pyre.'
'Okay,' I said. 'We'll take it.'
The boy nodded and he led us to a large tunnel big enough for a man to slide through. Our Pokémon hopped on our backs and we slid down the tunnel into a land of narrow hallways.
