Title: Sto. Niño Festival

Every year in different parts of the country,Filipinos celebrate a fiesta in honor of the child Jesus. In the town where I live there is the "caracol" usually held during the month of January. There is dancing & merry making in the streets as we parade the

icon of Sto. Niño. Some would cover themselves with soot & others would dress in assorted, colorful costumes.

In some other parts of the country, like Cebu,Aklan & Ilo-ilo,they called the celebration as "sinulog","Ati-atihan" & "Dinagyang" respectively. This is a very fun & enjoyable ocassion for me & my family.
