Together, Linwe and Merenwen rode on their horses to Thayet’s house, two miles away. The rain splattered onto their silk, black capes, and they both were drenched in a few minutes. “We better stay in that hotel, until the rain’s gone.”But as they both clip, clopped to the hotel, Merenwen’s sapphire necklace slipped from her neck. “Linwe!” Merenwen shouted. “My necklace! I have to find it!” “Nooo!” Cried Linwe. “The rain is starting to bring a storm. You can’t go and find your necklace.”
