young hobbit of the shire
together we will ride

we will find our courage together

Fear lingers in your heart
young hobbit
I can feel it
do not go into needless perils
do not waste your young life

You have as much courage as any man
your height matters not to me
it should matter not to any one else
evil will learn to fear you
I have found my courage

Fool of a Took!
Needlessly do you go into such perils
What did you see?
A white tree burning
A white tower falling
Ride with me

the nazgul speaks to me

Pledge to him do you?

watch him carefully young hobbit
he loses his mind
it slips frim his grasp
if he has not lost it already
much fighting you will see

do not pass beyond my sight

Young hobbit you do surprise me

the steward burns his kin

And so the quest has ended
with a great battle
and the strength of hobbits
so returns the king
Sauron perished
Frodo and Sam prevailed
But now we must leave this Middle-earth
all those who have beared the Ring
for the pain is too great
and my task is done
I shall go too
into the harbor
and into the west
