I darkness surrounds me.
I hold on tight.
I thought you could tell,
Wrong from right.
Obviously not,
I think as I fall.
Trying to ignore,
The serine call.
I glance at you,
You words piece me.
'No one can have you,
If you won't have me!'
A shadowy figure.
Takes my hand.
'Take me to
The promised land.'
He picks me up,
Hold me tight.
Protects me in
The angle flight.
I close my eyes,
And fall asleep.
My sleep seems so
Unbelievably deep.
A sudden shock.
I open my eyes.
All my thoughts
Seem to fly.
I'm alive.
It hits me sharp.
To my surprise,
I start to laugh.
Laugh with shock,
Laugh with pain.
Laugh to know,
It'll be alright again.
The man smiles at me,
I smile back.
He seems to realise
What I lack.
He helps me through,
His name is Sam.
He seems to take me,
To another land.
It'll be alright,
I know that now.
I know I'll get over this.
