Title: LOTR, Return of the Hobbits, Part 6
'AAAHHH!' Sam yelled as he spun around to face his enemy. But it wasn't an enemy. It was Rosy. 'Why are you leaving without saying goodbye, Samwise Gamgee?' Sam sheathed Sting. 'Well, begging your pardon, I did! In the note!' said Sam. ' No you did not, Sam!' exlaimed Rosy. 'Show me!' protested Sam, 'Look!' Apparently Sam had forgotten to mention it.'See!' Rosy burst out. 'Well then.' Sam said, 'Here's your goodbye!' And he took her in his arms and gave her a hug and kissed her. And of course, She cried. 'Are you really leaving?' she asked. 'Yes, I just didn't want you to cry.' Sam said. 'Well, do you really have the One Ring again?' 'Yes I really do, and here it is!' Sam held up the Ring from a chain on his neck. 'Well, you had better go soon!' Rosy said, 'Or otherwise, the littles will be up soon!' 'Tell them I had to do some business somewhere around Gondor, and I might not be back for a while. Because that is the truth.' Sam said. And so he said goodbye (with a side order of crying), and went out the door, singing, ' The Road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began...' the song Bilbo sings when he is traveling. 'Goodbye Sam!' Rosy called from the doorstep. 'Tell the littles I said goodbye!' Sam called. And so he left.
