Title: Darkness Surround While Hobbits Travel Again #8
Frodo woke. He looked around. Nothing but blackness surrounded him. He realized that he was blindfolded, with his arms tied up as well. His arms were over a horse’s neck, making him unable to move it upwards too high since he could see nothing. Sudden huge throbs of pain knocked him down fear and pain was rising. He felt a hiss and a rough feel of a robe. The hairs of the horse were tickling his neck and he coughed, making all the riders halt their horses. “Baaaaggggiiiiinnnnssss wwwooookkkkeeee....” a voice hissed, while the screeches of the horses continued. “Ooouuuurrrr ffffllllyyyyiiiinnnngggg beeeeaaasssttt iiisss wwwaaaaiiittttiiinnnngggg...” Another voice sounded, while Frodo listened. He knew what they were talking about. They were trying to bring him to their Master’s lands, Mordor, and do something with him. But what and where was his BODY bringing him to? thought Frodo furiously. The pain was increasing, ever so cold, but ever so familiar as well... Was this the throb of pain he had a long while ago? He did not know, for he seemed to faint...
“Sam and Chana, we will rest here. It is a long way through Rivendell, and most likely Strider has said that he will leave his daughter at Rivendell for us to get to Frodo. He elsewhere will not be able to leave. Let us rest!” Gandalf stated. Sam and Chana sighed, a big sigh for Sam and Chana for they were willing to go on to Rivendell and find Frodo. “Why not go now? It is much easier for us to just go now, don’t you think?” Chana told, her words quivering. “If you two are not tired then, let us go. But we must go quickly...”
