Just in case the title didn't fit, it's 'Darkness Surround While Hobbits Travel Again #10'
'Sam and Chana, are you not hungry yet?' Gandalf spoke, his voice sharp and clear. 'I am,' Chana answered, bursting out breath back and forth. The breeze of the wind was strong, and this was making Chana cough. 'Chana, are you alright?' Sam asked a little worriedly, his voice quivering. 'I'm feeling ill. I better rest for a bit. Night will come speading by,' she spoke hoarsely.
As the night crept by, they three ate a lot of the food they had brought for their jouney. The white horse, Shadowfax, Gandalf's horse had been journeying with them. Gandalf whispered into the horse's ear and with a swift kick on a small rock, Shadowfax vanished into the night. 'Where did Shadowfax go, Gandalf?' Sam asked, while Chana slept. 'Why, I sent Shadowfax wherever the creature wanted to go! Shadowfax deserves some rest,' Gandalf said. Chana slept peacefully on a big rock, Sam's cloak over her so the cold wind will not make her more ill.
The next morning, they traveled a long way from the Shire. Sam and Chana missed it's cheerful laughs and their life at the Shire. Suddenly, a bush quivered right next to Gandalf and he got his wand at the ready. Sam got out his sword and Chana just stood behind Sam. A familiar head poked out of the bush. 'Pippin!' Chana and Sam both recognized him and they shouted with delight. Another familiar head poked out, with their bags ready. 'Merry!'
'Oh no!' Gandalf grumbled. 'Your not happy to see us?' they both exclaimed. 'Nay, I'm happy!'
