Title: What can you do?
What do you do when you don't want to fight anymore,
But you don't want to give in?
Where does that leave you,
For there is no place between.
People tell you to hang on,
Insist it will be alright,
But with encouragement all around you,
You only fall deeper in your plight.
It's not them, you assure,
It's you- how you can't do this anymore.
And you're all set to gulp down those pills; end your fears,
But something pulls you back as you see their grievious tears.
What do you do when you don't want to fight anymore,
But you don't want to give in?
Where does that leave you,
For there is no place between.
When you scream silently inside, hurt deep within,
You're crying out in pain,
Needing to be free- but you don't want to sin.
'Help' you scream, but do not gain.
A comforting hug and a hopeful smile,
Both shot your way; neither worthwhile.
Its not getting any better,
But you can't end it- they won't let ya.
What do you do when you don't want to fight anymore,
But you don't want to give in?
