ENGLISH SONNET FORM
DANCE
Dancing is a beautiful thing
Moving oh so gracefully around
It makes me feel as if I have wings
During the fall I'm Nutcracker bound
My tap shoes loudly tapping
My jazz shoes gently gliding
I love to hear the audience clapping
While my ballet shoes are gracefully sliding
During the fall I try out for Nutcracker
During the summer I perform to a goofy song
During the winter don't dare call me a slacker
But in all my performances I try to do nothing wrong
I absolutely love to dance
I get excited just at a glance
