Title: Fear and the '-phobias'

You know, we all fear something. Some of us fear the darkness or some are afraid of ghosts(the ones who think ghosts actually exist).
In science, each type of fear is given a scientific name that ends with 'phobia'. When I got to know this, I was totally amazed (well, almost). So, I decided to rescearch a bit on it. The results I got absolutely amazed me.
Getting bored???? No matter, just read the following and you'll find some interest ( or so I hope).
Here is a list of different kinds of fears-
Anthrophobia- Fear of flowers.
Triskadekaphobia- Fear of the number 13.
Telephonophobia- Fear of telephones.
Metrophobia- Fear of poetry.
Graphophobia- Fear of writing.
Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth.
Eisoptrophobia- Fear of mirrors.
Xanthophobia- Fear of the color yellow or the word yellow.
Technophobia-Fear of technology
Ideophobia- Fear of ideas

You know what? In my opinion, the saying 'what we fear is fear itself' is absolutely correct.

PS= I'll try to find out whether fearing fear has a ending-with-'phobia'-name. HeHe
