Title: I'm getting there... (and note to Katie)
I can feel my heart thumping in my chest as I think back and what I have just done; accomplished. My eyes are watering with immense relief. Hope has been restored for once, because I did it. I faced the thing that terrifyed me the most. I have seen my past, faced the one person who petrified me and who unknowingly controlled my future. Twice. And spoken through all of the hell and anguish that I went through owing to this person, got some answers, a civil conversation, but most of all I have gained hope. Hope for the future I thought would be haunted by this darkness. It seems the shadow that has been haunting me for ages is fading away, dimming...
I know it wont be easy, but I've come so far already. I'm not going to turn back, to let it progress back to the state where I couldn't cope. Yes, I will still be afriad to some degree. Yes, I may have the odd panic attack but it hopefully will be nothing like before. Yes, there are no miricule cures...
but there are miricules.

To Katie: Thanks hunny. Its really nice of you to leave that reply. I am talking to many proffessional people, but I have recently overcome a massive hurdle in my path to recovery. I'm getting there regardless of how hard it is. I know I'll make it. Take care. XxX
