12th of February, 2004 - in the boy's dorm
Dear Cho,
I woke up from a dream - a horrible dream. After all the tossing and tirning I had been wanting to force myself to go back to sleep, I don't know why. However, because of that incident, I had this urge to tell you about it, and here I am writing to you about the crazed dream that confused and infatuated my mind - and my heart as well.
I dreamt that Voldemort attacked Hogwarts together with his Death Eaters. He attacked all the half-blooded witches and wizards as usual. At half past twelve you were crying somewhere in the roads of Hogsmeade, you hadn't noticed Voldemort himself was behind you - wands and all. He performed a curse. A curse that was so powerful it looked like there was a humongous nuclear explosion. And after that - you died.
That's when I woke up. Usually when i have nightmares and you're involved in it, I was there to protect you. I would always be there to save and get you out of harm. This time, I wasn't. That made me wonder...
This isn't a Science thing that involves REM of the 4 Stages of Sleeping. No. I pondered, 'perhaps it had something to do with my, my deep attachment - with you'. Cho,I badly have to confess the feelings I had been confiding in my heart towards you for more than three years time. I love you, there's nothing else I can say that could express my deepest and most intimate feelings towards you. Cho you are everything to me. You make me feel so complete. When i'm with you, I don't feel so alone. After dark i always wish that daylight will come so that I could be with you again...
My whole world shattered when i recall the incident when we broke up. See I love you - I had definately, desperately fallen in love with you.
But I regret to say my memory of you had banished from my mind. Roger Davies was the guy for you. I know you loved him and he loved you in return. There's no posible way I could score points against him. He's all that with the flopping hair and dreamy eyes. I'm just another ordinary boy who just keeps on defeating Voldemort every year. There's nothing special about me - just this lightning bolt shaped scar on my forehead...My liking for you has banished, but my attachment towards you remains carved in my heart - here, forever...
