Title: Something wont lie

I hear you insist that you're okay,
I stop; partly filled with fear,
I know that I'm getting over this,
But I'm still scared to know you're near.
My stomach churns: I retch,
Before lunging forward violently,
I don't know what to do anymore,
There are too many feelings trapped inside of me.

Help me, I long to scream,
Even though the past is dead,
But still something is present,
Something wont lie in bed.

I know that it's my illness ,
As it makes it's sick point,
Yet I don't know what to do for it,
Which warrior to appoint.
For there is no one who can save me anymore,
I'm alone and so very scared,
I've lost my vital safety net,
I can fall- you won't be there.

For you can't save me anymore...
You can't stop me...
When I can't cope, it's not you.
You can't help...

It's me and I'm so alone.

I go over that moment when I was there,
The words I overheard,
They stick in my mind like glue,
I don't want to know- or care.
I don't give a damn about you.
Yes, it's not you- but 'her',
But I can't afford to think it,
To progress back when to 'there'.
That time when I couldn't cope.
When I couldn't live anymore...

Help me, I long to scream,
Even though the past is dead,
But still something is present,
Something wont lie in bed.
