As today turns into tomorrow
I wipe a tear to hide my sorrow
I close my eyes and tell myself it is all not real
But when I open them
Loneliness and betrayal is all I can feel
I close my eyes again
Slowly going through are years together
Thinking…
My only dream was to have and hold you forever
Shattered…
I search for the answers in my heart
Wondering…
How you could have done this to US
Because…
You told me once you could never do this to me
That you had great respect for me
And would always love me
Oh…
How great you must feel
To destroy a man
Destroy…
All his love, hopes, and dreams
