When the Digidestined and the housepets returned to the Arbuckle house, Jon went into the kitchen and started cooking. 'I've got to admit, Garfield. Your owner is really nice,' Takuya said. 'Yeah, but he's kinda geeky because he always tries desperately to get a date,' Garfield said. 'I feel sorry for him,' Takuya said. Meanwhile, Koji and JP were talking while Nermal and Odie were also talking. Nermal and Odie were talking about finding a way to help their traveling partners get more used to each other. JP started patting his stomach as it let out another loud growl. 'I know you're hungry, JP. But, we're gonna have to wait until Mr. Arbuckle gets done cooking,' Koji said. 'Yeah, I guess you're right,' JP said while feeling weary. 'Brunch's ready!' Jon shouted from the kitchen. The Digidestined and the housepets all walked into the kitchen so they could have brunch. Back in the alley, the shadowy figure turned out to be the cute little extra-terrestrial that Garfield, Jon, and Odie met years ago. 'Soon, those housepets along with that dumb cat will soon answer to me,' The extra-terrestrial said.
