Title: Cave of Wonders
Once upon a time there was a boy who liked caves. He liked them because they were good hiding places. One time when he went into a cave he saw two big red eyes glowing. Then there was fire. He was very scared. When he tried to run back there was a cave-in and he was trapped. He tried screaming for help but he was all alone exploring. He thought it was a dragon but it was really a fire breathing bird that got trapped in chains that could not melt. The bird was also in a big. The bird had fire breath and was very humongous. The bird could talk English but nobody came close enough for anybody to here. The boy felt sad for the bird and started to cry. The bird said stop it because if water got on the bird the bird would melt and die. The boy was hunting so he had a bow and arrow, a knife, water, a shield and food. The boy asked the bird how he got stuck in this cave. The bird said that an evil magician caught and trapped him. He thought of picking up and moving the rocks but they were too heavy. He thought he could break the rocks with his knife but the rocks were too hard. He tried to break the chains and it worked. But the bag was to close to the firebird. The bird blew fire and it burned the rocks. The boy was about to go until he saw the bird. He thought about the magician coming back so he put water on the bird. The bird shriveled up and died. He started laughing because he just used the bird. He went home and told his mom. His mom didn't believe him so he went back to the cave with his dad. The magician was there and turned the boy into a turtle. He turned his dad into a monkey. The magician had the last laugh. It was two weeks before they both got back. The mother went to the cave and was turned into a snake. All of the families were animals and a horrible life. The boy thought the bird was still alive to save him. He finally knew that he shouldn't have killed the bird. His mom got mad at him and ate him because she was a snake. The dad got mad at her and ate the snake because he was a monkey. The dad was the one who had the better life because he could swing in trees and live in the wild.
