Title: A Dog With Nine Lives
Cats aren't the only animals with nine lives. I think my dog Lady may also have nine lives, because by my countshe has already lost five lives in the four years we have had her.I'll list them in the order from which they happened.
1. she got dumped in our cul-de-sac, and appeared to be miss treated by her owners before us.
2. she survived several nights with coyotes on the prowl.
3. she swam across the flooded Oso creek.
4. she got hit by our mailmans truck with him going at full speed.
5. she got bit by a rattlesnake while protecting my new puppy and my mom's fourteen year old dog.
