Title: The Invisibility Cloak Becomes Invisible. Part X (
Harry, Ron and Hermione kept a good watch on Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle throughout the class. They class seemed to go on and on and finally after two hours of long waiting, it came to an end. Malfoy was almost leaving with his two side kicks beside him when Harry, Ron and Hermione approached them, their wands raised.
“What do you want now, Potter”, snapped Malfoy.
“Nothing much”, said Harry casually, “I want my Invisibility Cloak back”. Malfoy looked a little taken aback. “What rubbish are you talking about?” he said.
“I want my Invisibility cloak back”, repeated Harry. Draco Malfoy realized that Harry would not fall for any of his pretends. So he said, “And what is going to make me give it back to you?”.
“So, you won’t give it back out of generosity, eh?” said Harry.
“Do I look like a mud blood to you”, said Draco, Hermione made a face, “going around doing charity?”
“No”, said Harry plainly
“You’re not getting it back, Potter, and that’s it”, said Draco.
“I think not”, said Harry, “You see, if you don’t give me the cloak, I’m telling Professor McGonagall that you stole her Twintrice Crystal”
“What crystal are you talking about?” asked Malfoy innocently.
“Listen Malfoy, no pretending is going to work here, okay. So do as I say”, said Harry.
“I’m not you’re slave, you know”, said Malfoy
“I know”, said Harry, “But you are only fit to be one”. By now, Malfoy was terribly angry, but like his father, Draco was a great pretender.
“Give the cloak to me or you’ll get detention for your whole school life”, said Harry. Finally, Malfoy could no longer bare the heat and decided to give Harry back the cloak. Harry, Ron and Hermione waited in the qudditch pitch as Malfoy and his side kicks went to Slytherin tower to bring back the cloak. There, they met Hagrid.
“‘Arry, haven’t seen you lately”, said Hagrid, “where ‘ave you been?” Harry explained the whole situation to him and after listening to everything, Hagrid said the three were very intelligent then quickly went to meet Professor Dumbledore in his office.
Finally, Draco came with Crabbe and Goyle and returned the cloak.
“Oh, and Draco”, said Harry as he turned to leave, “Remember never to tell anyone about the cloak or else I’ll tell everyone about the crystal”. Draco, lost of words, just walked off.
So, theft could not be made so invisible after all.
