While Obelisk the Tormentor (4000/4000) hung towering over the field, Yami was in a tight spot. With only his favorite monster, the Dark Magician (2500/2100) defending him, Yami was in the lead with life points but not monsters.
“With the fist of God, you battle City tournament experience will end. Yugi, your chance of winning is as much as possible as the cock and bull story about you begin pharaoh. Give it a rest” Kaiba gloated.
“Not while I have a card in my deck and life points will I lose to you” Yami said, although rather shaken that Kaiba had his god out.
“Fine, be that way. Obelisk, strike down his Dark Magician. The fist of the blue god raced toward the helpless magician.
“Activate Magical Hats!” Yami cried, as four large hats appeared on the field, preventing the attack while hiding the Dark Magician.
“I will find your magician, and your god will be mine! I play, Monster Reborn, to bring back the Blue Eyes White Dragon (3000/2500). Attack the right hat with White Lightning” Kaiba declared. Both attacked hit the decoy hats, and saved the Dark Magician.
“How about we higher the stakes; I will bet my Blue Eyes White Dragon and my Obelisk the Tormentor, for your Dark Magician and your Slifer the Sky Dragon.” Kaiba proposed, confident of victory. If I take his Dark Magician, It will humiliated him just like the day he humiliated me with Exodia, Kaiba reasoned.
“Kaiba, I accept your offer, I shall be two ante cards on two ante cards.” Yugi agreed. “I shall use Premature Burial, which will bring Slifer back from the grave for the bargain price for 800 life points (4800). Usually, magic cards only work on gods for one turn, so I must make this one worth it. With six cards in my hand, Slifer’s attack is 6000. Now I play United We Stand, which raises all monsters on my side of the field by 800 attack points per monster I control. Now, Slifer and Dark Magician, ATTACK! Kaiba, you lose you lest of your life points. (Kaiba Life Points : 0)
