When I am confused
And I don't have a clue what is happening,
Can I hug you near?
When I am delighted
And as happy as can be,
Can I share that with you?
When I am saddened
And in total despair,
Can I cry on your shoulder?
When I am frightened
And I need to be hidden from the world,
Can I stand by you?
When I am angry
And annoyed with everyone,
Can I tell you exactly how I feel?
Will you still love me if I do?
When I feel lost, unloved an
And rejected in every way possible,
Can I find your hand
to help me back on my feet?
When my mind is being dishonest,
Can I depend on you to be true?
When I am uncertain of anything,
Can I rely on you to not give up on me?
When I need to know you love me,
Can you tell me you love me-
No matter how many times
I've been doubtful in the past?
