Title: Only One Moment
Editor, you may deny this, but I am the girl that wrote A midnight Walk. I was simply embarassed to write my real name. If you do not believe me, I have written another poem with as much as energy and feeling as the first one.
Only one moment is left.
She knew he was leaving,
but to force her heart into leaving his..
was unacceptable.
Only knowing who he really was gave her true life and meaning to her soul.
Not knowing him for more that 2 weeks,
she knew she had found her true love.
But with the people around her,
she had no way to run.
They had not wanted her and her love together because they were racially different.
Only one moment was left before he was to walk out of her life forever...
what was she to do?
Then a thought came to her.
Why did she believe what others said, why did her love believe it?
If they had truely loved each other, wouldn't they have been forsaken to be together/
Only half a moment left.
He called to her and asked her to come with him.
She gasped at his remark..
How could she have ever have doubted him?
she knew what was the right thing to do.
Pearl-like tears strolled down her cheeks.
She can't go throughout life knowing she was uncertain about her love for him..
Because deep inside her heart, she knew that true love comes only once in life, and her was still awaiting her.
