Title: Infatuation
I couldn't help it. He was just too cute. I thought maybe he'd notice me, but he never did.
I met this girl 8 months ago. Soon found out she liked him. I didn't know what to say. She meets him every week. Figured she'd have a better shot at him, so I let it be.
Go figure. I was too shy to act, what makes me think she wouldn't? She did. I beat myself up every night not because I didn't fight for my love, but because I didn't speak.
If I see him again, I could speak, but it's too late. I can't tolerate having a lost love with my best friend. I'd rather die. Wish I could go back.
If this infatuation doesn't wear off, I'll die of it, or else kill my spirit.
Either way, I have 5 words for you: Don't expect me to survive.
