Title: Episode 96: Recalling The Past

I headed for Cinnabar Island, but I went the wrong direction and instead I flew into a mass of darkness. Suddenly, I saw a mountain, very clearly, and landed on it. Since the night was dark and moonless, it was hard to tell what was happening around me. Looking down from the mountains, I saw a blur of light, and nothing else.
The next morning, I woke up and saw the entire pokémon world, which was much bigger than I thought. With my Pidgeotto, I flew back to Pallet Town. Halfway there, I looked behind me and saw that the mountains I were on have disappeared. Ever since, I have never considered or think about the mountains again.
Recalling what had happened a few years ago that night, I finally knew the mystery. I was on the Mountains of Isolation, and that night, it was so dark that I didn’t even notice the orange color. We concluded that it must be a one-way wall, which is where only one side can see through the wall.
Some footsteps approached, and I spun around. Nothing was present. Thinking that it was just a hearing illusion, I ignored and look back down at the land. The same sound appeared again, and everyone heard it this time. We turned and we saw something we had never seen before. It was type of pokémon, I was sure, but it wasn’t anything near what I’ve seen before. It looked like a poodle, a purple one, except it was a little bigger than most poodles. It barked at us, as if trying to warn us. I sent out Vaporeon, who was a little bored, and told it to translate what the poodle said. The pokémon barked for a few more seconds and it scampered away. Vaporeon said that it was warning us that there might be a dangerous pokemon battle sometime soon. I know that we have to go away from this mountain, so we don’t get caught in the pokémon battle. Our Articuno went down, back to the Indigo Plateau, where it was safe. I was surprised to see how much was rebuilt since the disaster. We were really only gone for about two days. A piece of paper was posted on a bulletin board on a building, and we couldn’t understand it. Not even our pokémon could understand it. It looked like a bunch of chips going in all different directions. On the back, it had an envelope. It had a tiny, folded piece of paper, and it had a map, similar to a treasure map. We located where we are, and then followed the trail all the way to a group of mountains, which we knew were the Mountains of Isolation.
