Title: I would like to say I am an expert.....
But that's not entirely true. I never was an expert at anything. I was never anything but an amatuer. The root word amat is Latin meaning love and amatuer means to love something you do.
I am an amatuer at everything: horseback riding, Tae Kwon Do, swimming, writing, acting, singing and daydreaming.
These are all the things I live for. I may be good at some, but being good does not mean I'm an expert or even really good.
Amatuers are what people like me are.
I suppose you could say I'm an expert at being an amatuer.
