Title: Destiny Trainers: Kokau's First Battle
“Espe!” Kokau appeared in a flash of white light. “First battle Kokau! I want to see you’re very best!” I smiled at my newest Poke’mon. “Espeon!” Kokau looked a little amazed at my friendliness but prepared for battle. “Swellow, quick attack.” Winona instructed. “Kokau! Double Team!” I commanded. Kokau used Double Team just as Swellow came rushing. “Alright!” Swellow missed her target and hit a fake. “Use Psy-Beam now!” “Espe-on! Peon!” Kokau began glowing a whitish color. “Espe!” A jet of Psychic energy hit Swellow full force. “Good job, keep it up!” I shouted. “Swellow, we’re not done yet. Use Aerial Ace!” Winona still looked calm. “Ssweeii!” Swellow darted upwards. “Kokau! Defense!” I shouted. Bracing herself, Kokau’s eyes burned. Swellow hit Kokau perfectly, but Kokau flipped around in midair and landed on her feet. “Kokau…” I whispered. Kokau began to glow an even whiter shade then before. (Kokau’s power… It’s unbelievable!) “Kokau! Energy Blast!” The whole gym suddenly filled up with light. “Espe….ON!” A gigantic ray of Kokau’s energy engulfed Swellow. “Swellow, you did well.” Winona pulled out a PokéBall. “Have a rest.” As Winona returned Swellow, Kokau danced up to me as if to say…’See! I did my best!’ “Kokau… You were wonderful! Do you want a rest?” Kokau looked at me with adoring yet tired eyes that said ‘please’. “Alright, here.” I drew out her PokéBall. “I’m not done yet. I still have three more Poke’mon.” Winona reminded us. “Kokau needs a break!” I said as I returned Kokau. “So I believe Cloud, ‘my’ Pichu, would love to meet a few of your three.” “So be it.” Winona and I withdrew our Poke ‘balls.
