Title: soccer story.....
hello. my name is greg age 11, in i am here to tell you about an amazing story.this takes place in southern florida
The sport i am talking about is soccer. Here is the story: I used to play in a soccer leage and i always sccored at least 3 goals per cam no matter what position i played.
after that league i went on to galaxy, a well known soccer team arount florida. The coach on that team swore to much about the sport so i switched to a NEW league.
Now i Play for the REAL MADRID PREDATORS OF PINECREST. during the season we were undeafeated central and south florida champions. this is where it got tough......
we were going to the state championship tournament. we were playing the #2 team for first seed. we lost 2-1 due to a few injuries on our behalf. But most of all, we under estimated our opponent.
For the rest of the tournament we won all of our games uyntil we came upon the jupiter team. I am not trying to put away the blame, but the refferees made poor calls and gave red cards and yellow cards fo going OFFSIDES.
But once again, we couldent get the ball moving. we lost 2-1.
We had one more chance.
to score 10 goals on another team. we won 9-2. not enough to play the champion team. since we did not move on, the #1 seeded team won by deafaulft.the lesson i am trying to make it NEVER GIVE UP and DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE OTHERS.
And by the way FREDDY ADOU AND BECKHAM RULE!!!!!
I am not a starter nor star on my team. it is very important not to be intimidated. if you work hard you can acheive a lot.
