Title: The real gem inside u
You are so lively,
So talkative, so kind and gentle,
It seems to me that you just do not mind, when someone is rude to you.
But why do I feel uneasy, whenever I look into your eyes?
I find so much pain hidden,
And yet, it doesn’t affect your smiling face a bit,
You are the one to make everyone laugh,
But you cry from inside
You make yourself appear silly in front of others,
But how much you secretly wish,
That everyone learns about your true self,
As you are from inside,
And not only derive pleasure and judge you,
According to what you show outside.
Everyone loves your outer character so much,
But how much you yearn for someone to know your true value,
To appreciate you as you are,
Your hidden talents and intelligence.
You feel depressed,
Your feelings are suppressed
And I know,
That you are not what you show.
You make everyone happy and laughing,
You take away their tears, their pains
But your own pain does not seem to want to leave you so easily.
It is high time, that someone realises your true importance,
And not only see you an object of ridicule,
A talking fool.
You catch everyone’s attention,
But no one seems to get your point.
How much would you have wished,
To lead a normal happy life,
Just like others.
You are surrounded by people,
And yet your life seems impossible
So empty and hollow.
Your eyes still search for someone
Who would identify the real gem inside you,
Who would take all your sorrows,
And in return,
Would only shower you with love,
So much affection that you would drown in it,
And feel that you have reached heaven.
I wish I were that person
To be your sole source of comfort, joy, peace and smile,
As I know that the day you consider me as your own,
Will be the most beautiful day of my life
I promise you,
That I shall never leave your side,
Whatever happens,
Even if the whole world turns against you,
Always remember that someone is here for you,
Forever…
