Title: The Island
Five hundred years ago, an island was formed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The island was the size of a small city, but underneath the ocean, it was a giant city to a gigantic civilization of strange creatures. In the year 2001, five astronauts crashed their shuttle into the vast spread of the Atlantic Ocean. The five astronauts were Guile, Dillon, Spencer, Joe, and Cesar (Me). The shuttle's main gas tank had exploded leaving the five astronauts in the tip of the shuttle while it crashed. Instinctively, the astronauts swam to the nearest source of land, which just so happened to be the five hundred-year-old island. Once arrived there, Guile continued to complain about strange sounds he kept hearing. Eventually, though, Joe found a small tunnel, small enough that if they took off their equipment, they could get through. The farther down the tunnel they went, the louder that strange motor sound became. After about six hours of crawling down the tunnel, the group of astronauts found that the tunnel eventually ended into a quite large cavern, with the sounds of machinery very loud. With their curiosity growing, the astronauts found a secret doorway and opened it by pressing certain rocks is the order '5-2-8-6'. The doorway opened, and the astronauts, with astonished faces full of awe, saw a gigantic city of creatures, about half the size of an average person, olive-green skin, small thin eyes, and a body in the shape in-between an ape and a lizard. These creatures spoke an ancient Aztec language, rolling out the words through their long mouths. Fortunately, Guile studied the Aztec language in high school and translated what, appeared to be the guards, said. They enrolled us into a conversation, which eventually the astronauts were brought to the emperor of the city. In conversation with the emperor, we were told that the humans evolved from these creatures, after being exposed to the atmosphere of earth. The emperor gave the astronauts a special 3D map, or hologram. The creatures gave the astronauts a hovercraft, crafted by one of the creatures, to get back to America. When the astronauts returned to Houston, few believed their story, but the strange hovercraft was a mystery.
