Title: Destiny Trainers: We're not just Cheerleaders!

“Altaria-The Humming Poke’mon.” Megumi’s eyes flashed. “I may still have much to learn but I know that!” “Go Megumi!” Silver enthusiastically agreed. “Altari!” Winona’s Altaria prepared to fight. (Ryuu, come back. Let Pikachu have a turn.) “Ryuu!” Ryuu trotted away from the battlefield. “Hey, where’s Ryuu going’?” Exil asked. “I called him back goof.” I answered him. “But you never said anything!” Gregory looked perplexed. “She called him mentally.” Squall explained. “Thank you.” I smiled at him. “Pika-Pika!” Pikachu was waiting on the battlefield. “Ok, let’s go!” I shouted. “Pika!” “Altaria!” Winona appeared determined. “Use Dragonbreath!” “Pikachu! Thunder!” Fire and lighting mixed as both Poke’mon attacked at the same time. “Scratch!” “Cha!” Pikachu leapt on Altaria and used scratch. “Altar!” Altaria flew off knocking Pikachu down. “Pi-ka.” Pikachu panted. “Altaria, Earthquake! Hurry!” Winona screeched. “Whoa, graceful as a blind bat.” Shu-Shu stared at Winona. “That wasn’t nice!” Sasha snapped at him. “Sorry!” He tripped, as Altaria had used Earthquake. “Pikachu!” I shouted. “Pika?” I laughed at my worry. Pikachu had jumped onto Altaria just as she had used Earthquake. “Give this one your best Thunder!” I called out to him. “Pika! Pikachu!” He gave me his happy look, then began charging. “Now!” I screamed happily. “Ka-chuuuuuuuu!” The entire stadium filled with lighting. (Everything is happening so quickly. Am I winning?) I thought. As the lightning decreased, I saw Winona recalling Altaria. “Did I win?” I asked. “Yes, I’ve never seen a bond like you have with your Pokémon. I laughed. “As I said before, I’m almost their sister!” “Here.” Winona walked over to me, and stretched her hand out. As I looked at it, I saw a small silver badge in the shape of a feather. “A Featherbadge…” I stared at it, unbelieving. “It’s yours.” Winona said softly. Slowly I took it, then smiled. “We did it!” Laughing, I pinned it to my sword’s sheath. “Could we come back tomorrow?” Squall asked. “Why?” Winona turned to him. “We’re not only cheerleaders, we are Trainers!” Sasha explained. “I’m no cheerleader! If anything I’m a cheerfollower, I don’t start waving pom-poms unless I have too!” Exil complained. “I-I’d rather my Poke’mon didn’t have too be beaten so severely once each seven days you would stay. Please, take your badges now.” Winona stammered. “No. We cannot take something we did not earn, whether it is a gift or not. We are Trainers, and we cannot grow strong if we cheat on our paths.” Squall said firmly. “We are like this world’s ray of light, we won’t shine in the sunlight, so we move among the darkness; challenging all we find there.” “Uh! I…I guess your right. It’s the determined trainers that become Poke’mon Masters….Come back tomorrow.” Winona sighed. To Be Continued.
