Title: Mossflower

Mossflower is the prequel to Redwall, Mossflower being the first in the trilogy of Redwall Abbey. It is Authoured by Brian Jacques.

Mossflower is the story of Redwall Abbey's founder and the first Warrior of Redwall, Martin the Warrior. It is a stunning piece of work about a woodland mouse who's country is enslaved by the evil wildcat Tsarmina who has murdered her father, the Lord Greeneyes Verdauga of the Thousand Eyes, and imprisioned her younger brother, the gentler Gingivere.

Martin of Mossflower Wood was captured by the Lady Tsarmina's stoats and brought to the dungeon where he met Gonff, another mouse who was in there for stealing back the Mice of Mossflower's food and drink that Tsarmina's workers steal.

Together they escape and flee to Gonff's Rebel Leaders, known as the Corim. There Martin learns he is to go to Salamandastron and there seek the help of Boar the Fighter, in whom lies the Mice's only hope of liberation from Tsarmina.

Yet it is not Boar who leads the Woodland creatures to liberation and victory, but Martin.

Come and read the Trilogy of Redwall Abbey and discover the Warrior of Redwall.
