The day was cold and dreary and the feeling of treachery and betrayel hung heavily in the air. I could hear my buckle boots on the wet pavement as I walked up the walkway to James and Lily Potter's house. I knocked on the door, James opened the door. Fear and anticipation were in his eyes. Lily was crying and little Harry was sleeping. You could tell that the two had a fight.
'James, Lily, I fear for you both.Be careful and treat eachother with care. Do not let your ties with eachother break.' I gave them each a parting hug and opened the door.
'Dumbledore, wait.' James put his hand on my arm.
'Yes James?' He ran up the stairs and came down carrying a silver cloth. An invisibility cloak.
'Keep this for harry, please.'
'I promise my friend, I will care for it and him with my life.' I hugged them again and that was the last time I ever saw lily or James alive.
Now comes the hard time, the time to present harry with his father's cloak, but how? A present...
